About Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk
Piccolo Buco Roma — set mere steps from Rome’s famed Trevi Fountain — is where Cooper’s Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. But it was the extraordinary, tall crust — crisp on the outside yet cloud-like at the center — that won his heart. He couldn’t wait to introduce America to a pizza this special!

We visited this place with few friends for dinner. We had a wonderful time. We are CH members, so we tried the wines we can't get there. Food was very yummy. You have to try the squash flowers filled with cheese. Soooo good. The pizza was my favorite. Love their crust.

Located at the intersection of Golf Road & Meacham Road in Schaumburg. Beautifully designed, nice covered patio with large TVs. Wine pairings for almost every menu item. The Mezzi Rigatoni Alla Vodka was cooked perfectly. The Chicken Parm was a nice portion of pasta & breaded chicken with a delicious sauce. The seasonal peach & blueberry Crostada was decadent and served warm with a cream gelato topping it. Jane, our server, was very knowledgeable about the menu items & had great recommendations. The manager stopped by to make sure everything lived up to our expectations…it did! We will definitely return very soon.

Had a great experience at Piccolo Buco! Even though the restaurant was very busy, our table was ready right on time with our reservation. We ordered a pizza, a pasta that seemed handmade, and the Yellow Tomato Bisque. Everything was delicious. I also loved that they split the soup into two servings for us without us even asking—that was such a nice touch. The service was excellent, and I was happy to be able to use my Cooper’s Hawk membership benefits there. I also highly recommend the Escarlato wine if you like something slightly sparkling and fruity. Beautiful restaurant, great food, and wonderful service. We’ll definitely be back!
